London Broil with Fresh Mushroom Salsa Sauce

What you need:

* 1 lb. flank, round or shoulder steak
* 2 Tbsp. olive oil
* 8 oz. (about 3 c.) fresh white mushrooms, sliced
* 3/4 c. diced onion
* 1 c. jarred chunky tomato salsa

What to do:

1. Preheat broiler; season steak with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Place steak on a broiler rack; broil about 3-1/2 in. from heat until done as desired, about 4 to 5 min. on each side for medium rare.
3. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet heat oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and onion; sauté until lightly browned and liquid evaporates, about 6 min.
4. Stir in salsa; cook, mixing gently, until salsa is hot, about 15 sec.
5. Carve steak diagonally across the grain in thin slices and serve with Fresh Mushroom Salsa Sauce.
