* 3 - 4 lbs. fresh ham butt or shank half
* 2 qts. apple cider
* 1 tsp. allspice
* 2 sticks cinnamon
* 1 Tbsp. whole cloves
1. Insert cloves into ham half.
2. Place ham half in Dutch oven, cover with cider; add spices. Cover kettle, heat to boiling.
3. Simmer 2 hrs. or until tender.
